TLD Bike | Luca Shaw re-signs for 2 more years!

(Corona, Ca. Jan 10th 2017) - Long time TLD athlete and 2015 Downhill rookie of the year, Luca Shaw, has extended his 5+ year relationship with Troy Lee Designs for another two years; going into the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Luca, formerly of our factory SRAM/TLD RACING team, for the last 3 seasons got the opportunity of a life time to join the Santa Cruz Syndicate to fill the vacancy of TLD Icon-Steve Peat and Josh Bryceland who have moved into ambassador roles with Santa Cruz Bicycles. With Luca already choosing to ride Santa Cruz bikes while on SRAM/TLD, the switch was pretty seamless for Luca when it comes to getting used to his 'new' bike! Luca has been with TLD since he was 14 years old, representing the brand on the east coast with his brother Walker Shaw. From early on we knew Luca would be the next great American downhiller. With multiple Junior victories in his career that culminated this season with him getting his first senior UCI world cup podium at Mont St Anne, Canada, and finishing the season in 9th overall, Luca solidified himself as not only one of the best Americans on the circuit, but a new threat to podiums in 2017. The Santa Cruz Syndicate team announcement video is classic Syndicate comedy, starring TLD Legend Steve Peat and the new recruits, check it out. Congrats to Luca and we look forward to even more racing and having fun with you in the future!
