TLD’s Seely Starts 2018 Supercross Campaign With Sixth at Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CALIF. (January 6, 2018) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely started the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross season with a consistent finish of sixth at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. With the new points system, it places Seely less than 10 points back of the current championship leader.

With the opening race always comes extra nerves and most riders are eager to get through the first race of the season. Seely not only got through it but did it in steady fashion, scoring sixth in the 450SX main event. “The first race always has so much hype around it, making it one of the toughest races of the year,” said Seely. “While I would have loved to get a better result, I know that this is a long season and that consistency does matter in the end, especially with the way the new points system breaks down. It will be good to get back to Houston next week where I took my first 450 win.”

Seely was wearing the all-new SE Air Metric Red and Navy Jersey and Pant, while also sporting the Metric Helmet. See more of the 2018 gear sets and the 2018 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
